America's SBDC is the association that represents America's nationwide network of Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs).
What is America's SBDC?
America’s SBDC is a non-profit Association that represents America’s nationwide network of Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs) – the most comprehensive small business assistance network in the United States and its territories. SBDCs are hosted by leading universities, colleges, state economic development agencies and private partners, and funded in part by the United States Congress through a partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
America's SBDC Mission
At America's SBDC our mission is to represent the collective interest of our members by promoting, informing, supporting and continuously improving the SBDC network. America's SBDC works with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), The United States Congress, the United States Senate and the with its national partners to ensure the SBDC program continues to recieve the support and resources its needs to serve the millions of small business clients they work with every year.
AI U Program
America's SBDC received funding from Google.org to establish the America's SBDC AI U Program, a national small business program dedicated to providing foundational AI training and other resources to SBDCs seeking to leverage AI's potential. Through the AI Clinics, America's SBDC will create educational opportunities to train and offer digital technology resources throughout the entire network.

No, the online training modules will be free for all SBDC network members.
What are the prerequisites for the in-person certification training?
To participate in the in-person certification training, advisors must:
- Have eligibility from allocations
- Complete 5 online modules
- Complete the AI Essentials Course (sponsored by Google.org)
Where can I learn more about the AI U program initiatives?
Am I required to participate in the live sessions as part of the online training?
While we encourage everyone to attend the live sessions as a resource to stay informed on current AI topics and build a good network of AI learners and experts, attendance is not mandatory.
